ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Denoise P. Sullivan Jr., D.Min., is a retired United States Air Force non-commissioned officer. His journey of fellowship with YHWH began with his accepting of Christ as his personal savior in 2001. During a period of seeking from God which has developed into a lifestyle he was led to serve in many capacities such as deacon. He later was licensed as a minister where his community involvement began as he took the gospel to teens who were being detained in juvenile detention. He and his wife later would be called to establish a youth ministry at Word of Life Fellowship Church. There as an Associate Minister he and Yolanda assisted teen parents discover God’s love did not diminish because of their pregnancy. In these young adults they taught parenting skills, and supported these teens as they transitioned to adulthood. Denoise and Yolanda also served as Sunday School teachers for their church’s High School students. They both were very active and served in many roles in the church’s Women’s and Men’s ministry. As a Life Christian University professor, Denoise contributed to the academic careers of many students as they prepared for ministry. He holds an undergraduate degree in management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Doctor of Ministry in theology from Life Christian University, and has received an advanced certificate in “Expository Preaching” from E. K. Bailey International Conferences on Expository Preaching and Teaching. Sullivan and his wife, Yolanda, have three adult children and four grandchildren.
